I'm so excited you've found my little corner of Kansas and the internet!

I’m an attorney, writer, and small-town believer, living and working in Dodge City — the same place I grew up chasing cattle, dreams, and the occasional tornado warning. After earning my degrees from the University of Kansas and Washburn Law, I came back home to serve the community that shaped me. And I can honestly say I've loved every minute of it!

This blog is where I share real stories from life in SWK (Southwest Kansas, I use this term a lot around here) and beyond — the wins, the hard lessons, and the beauty in building something meaningful close to home. I believe rural Kansas deserves more lawyers, more dreamers, and more people willing to invest where their roots run deep. If that sounds like your kind of thing, you’re in the right place.
